We groom cats in Barnet, Essex, Enfield, Whetstone, Finchley, St Albans, Borehamwood. Bathing Cats

bathing cats

Cats have self cleaning coats so it is  unnecessary to bathe a cat. It is more important to feed them the right diet, this will keep their coats free of mats and tangles. Cats do not like water and bathing them is pure torture unless you own a hairless cat like a Sphinx.

There are circumstances when cats get caught in substances which need removing and therefore bathing the offended area is necessary. If an owner needs their cat cleaned I would use a waterless shampoo.
